Compensation

A commitment to society

Primarily based on a relationship of trust and exchange, our scholarship system includes the participation of the beneficiaries.

What is the compensation ?

It usually results in voluntary community work. It is a personal project, proposed by the beneficiary, according to their interests, skills and desire to be useful to society.

Areas include:

  • Volunteer work in a community center
  • Tutoring
  • Supporting youth in the asylum process
  • Management of local miners in a center for asylum seekers
  • Help a person with disabilities

Example:

M., a young man from Guinea Conakry, during his studies in Geneva, accompanied four young fellow countrymen who had had problems with the law.  This support has borne fruit: motivated to give a new meaning to their lives, all four young people today follow vocational training.
